We had vegan ice cream at Leopoldos tonight I had mocha flavour & strawberry it tasted delicious , I would recommend this ice cream parlour

a great ice cream bar, the ice cream tastes delicious and you can also have breakfast there! A champagne breakfast is exactly what you should do ;-) you can order more rolls, nothing is missing at breakfast, hearty, sweet ... simply delicious! On September 13th, 2020 I went to Gelato mio at Ulrichsplatz with a friend. This very popular restaurant was completely full because of the Magdeburg "shopping festival" - it is absolutely impossible to keep your distance! We noticed that there was no disinfectant anywhere, not even on the toilet, and the tables were only wiped briefly (certainly not disinfected). And very to complain about: the staff did not wear masks or the like. Protection, not gloves, always had direct contact with the visitors. This is not only unacceptable for the guests, but definitely also for the employees in these times, if not dangerous. I can only say: the next Corona hotspot Magdeburg could be Gelato mio! A shame for this otherwise very good restaurant.

Very nice place. Whether ice cream, waffles, bruschetta - everything tastes delicious. Only 1 star deduction, because unfortunately you cannot pay by card, which should be standard these days. In times of the pandemic in particular, contactless card payments would be much more hygienic than cash.

We wanted 2x Gornetto Roche, this was denied with we didn't do it then we wanted 2x Gornetto Strawberry was not made either. Conclusion never go there again.

Have been here more often. Basically the staff is nice and the ice cream is delicious. However, recent visits have been sobering. The last few times we had to wait up to 30 minutes before we could order and we went a few times, because even though we tried to draw attention to ourselves, the waitress didn't notice us. Unfortunately this happened too often lately.

Delicious ice cream, with various flavours, especially pistachio and mocha. Nice outdoor sitting with lovely landscapes, quite area not crowded. Reasonable prices, good service, friendly staff. When I come back to the town, I will definitely go there again.
